We encourage all companies and individuals who are involved in the manufacture of hats of all types in Britain to become members of the recognised trade body - The British Hat Guild. The involvement may range from the making of bespoke hats to production manufacture, the supply of raw materials and the retail of hats in either small boutiques or large department stores. Provided you or your business has a significant input into the manufacture or sales of British made hats, no matter where you are in the world, you are welcome to apply for membership of the Guild.

We list below some of the advantages of being a member of the Guild.

	Being involved in the Guild and its work to promote British made hats world-wide.
	Being entitled to use the Guild’s logo, the sign of assured quality, on you stationery and products.
	Having a free listing in up to two categories on our web site with your company details, which will help promote your company world- wide. There will also be a facility to link directly to your own web site. Additional listing under further categories is available for a small fee of £ 35 per category.
	Ability to post any Job vacancies you may have on the Guild web site.
	Participation in promotional events sponsored by the Guild.
	Being able to share in special offers such as cheaper hotel rates negotiated by the Guild.

For your “company profile” listing on the web site you should add a description of your business operation in no more than 20 words. In addition you can add one image, which in preference should be provided in JPEG or GIF format at a size of no greater than 200 x 200 pixels. A hard copy of the image is also possible but it should be noted that scanning of the image will be required and there may be some loss in image quality due to this process. Please add this information on the membership form.
