There are usually a number of purposes to everyday regular objects like a tea towel can dry up utensils as well as guard hands from burning when carrying plates and acan of beer might be used for alcoholic drinking reasons, and also polish furniture. Much like many things in life, a lot of people attempt to break the mould to grabattention and make news headlines. But one person has decided to be more unusual and use hair extensions for a totally wacky new point, other than to extend natural hair. The dress maker from the popular Channel 4 programme ‘My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding’ has bizarrely made a wedding gown from human hair extensions. Thelma Madine has shot to fame ever since the television show was launched as she claims to be the leading seamstress for all travellers and gypsies across the UK. Now the ‘fairy godmother’ has created some bridal wear that takes OTT (Over the Top) to atotally new level.

The peculiar dress has been created using two hundred and fifty metres of hair pieces and is right now valued at a massive £50,000. The human locks frock needed a groupof around 8 dressmakers and hairdressers to produce the bright red colourful dress. The wedding dress weighs a huge 15 stone, is a size six and Madine is hoping that the pricey item will be picked up by controversial star Lady Gaga. The ‘Born This Way’ singer has caused a stir in the past by putting on outrageous and grotesque outfits made completely out of meat and one like Kermit the Frog from hit Television showThe Muppets. So now the well-known UK seamstress is eager for Gaga to carry on her trademark style and wear the exclusive dress made totally out of clip in hair extensions.

The unusual wedding dress was made through collaboration with a hair dresser known as Ryan Edwards from hair dressers Voodou and it used thousands of individual hair wefts and different hairpieces such as Remi hair extensions or clip in fringes. The exclusive design, which took over twelve days to create, also comprises of 1500 crystals and 12 underskirts. The bridal wear was crowned the winner when it was displayed at the Alternative Miss Liverpool pageant in Liverpool. But it's not the only hair-raising outfit which has ever been made. Back in 2010 a tunic was made in Vietnam from one million metres of human hair Remi hair extensions and it came complete with a matching hat.

This occurrence is a really crazy use of pre bonded hair extensions as normally Britonswear them to elongate their own natural hair on their head as opposed to wearing them on their own body. Create fabulous length with some feather hair extensionsjust like brand ambassador Sam Friars off of the hit reality tv show ‘The Only Way Is Essex’. Whether you like long curly hair or perhaps a lengthy straight mane, make sure you wear the flip in hair extensions on your head. Budding fashionistas can co-ordinate the remi cachet hair extensions with their current hair colour so it fits completely.

It could be something we have all grown to take for granted, but for thousands of years lighting our homes wasn't the straightforward task it is nowadays and resulting in humans having to get up when the sun rises and go to bed when night falls, instead of being able to take charge of their own lives

Fire was one of the original developments in lighting and over time humans uncovered methods to make this source of light more mobile and making it possible to be used indoors. Flickering oil table lamps were one of the only ways to light your house for hundreds of years, and adequate lighting was something frequently reserved for the rich as the fuels included olive oils, sesame oils and fish oils, which poorer families would end up consuming when times were hard.

Gas lighting was created in the 18th century and also this soon grew being popular in homes and as outdoor lighting in the streets of cities around the globe. It was first installed in London, but soon started appearing across Europe and the USA, and various cities throughout the UK.

However, the gas lights were soon replaced by more modern lighting; electric lighting. Here is the type of outdoor lighting we see these days, but numerous places still keep gas lighting to produce a more timeless and historic feeling.

These days, modern lighting comes in a number of forms so we can light up all the rooms of our homes and are no more bound by the hours of daylight. One crucial area which has seen major advancements is bathroom lighting. Due to the amount of water in the room and the dangers of electrics, designers have come up with various forms of bathroom lighting to help keep the room full of light without putting us at danger. From bathroom wall lighting to bathroom ceiling lighting, we can soak in total safety without chance of electrocution.

Modern ceiling lighting is additionally well-liked in locations other than the bathroom. Spotlights and other types of ceiling lights are often seen in modern kitchens as they possibly can allow light to be focused on certain areas which is ideal for cooking.

In addition to enhancing our homes, lighting has also improved upon safety. Following the first gas lights were introduced in cities, crime rates fell and motion triggered outdoor LED lighting or outdoor wall lighting is now often made use of by homeowners outside of their property to discourage burglars. Fire rated downlights have been created which could prevent your ceiling from falling apart in the instance of a fire.

Lighting doesn’t just have to be functional; it can be useful for aesthetic purposes. LED lighting is common as this means that coloured light might be emitted naturally that can make a great feature for outdoor lighting especially. Ceiling lighting and wall lights have also been improved due to new designs which can make your lighting a function of the room, thanks to options for instance crystal lighting and pendant lighting, and floor lamps are also very popular for homeowners who would like to make a statement.

With the beginning of a wave of energy efficient lightbulbs, lighting will continue in order to develop to match the newest technologies, so who knows what the lighting of the future will consist of.

Giving gifts for special occasions and events really is a popular tradition all around the world. Whether it’s exchanging Christmas gifts, giving your family and friends presents on their birthday or perhaps celebrating a couple’s marriage with wedding presents, giving gifts has got a long standing custom in several cultures.
In more recent years, many other occasions also have become associated with gift giving, so we now give Christening gifts as well as Anniversary gifts and even presents for Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, Valentine’s Day and also life events like graduations and retirements.
It really is believed that the traditions of giving presents goes back to Roman times. They were the very first to celebrate birthdays by having extravagant parties plus birthday gifts, and also they enthusiastically celebrated the festival Saturnalia each and every December.
This week long party occurred between 17 and 23 December and it saw the Romans visiting friends and family, enjoying feasts and obviously, giving presents to each other. Popular presents for men and presents for ladies included candles, earthenware figures, clothes, books, crockery as well as perfumes.
Saturnalia was one of the festivals which contributed to the origin of Xmas. When Christianity started spreading, customs had been taken from numerous ancient and Pagan festivals. Giving gifts was taken from Saturnalia, greenery and lighting from the Roman New Year and food items from Germanic festival of Yule.
The celebration of Xmas transformed significantly through the Middle Ages. At the start of the period, it involved eating, drinking as well as carolling for the entire period of what we know now as Advent and also Christmas gifts were given on New Year’s Day. During the 16th-17th centuries, Christmas time changed to include far more lavish feasts and gifts being given on Christmas Eve and also Christmas Day.
Even though the festival was stopped by Oliver Cromwell in 1647, it still continued to be popular but it was the Victorian period which saw Christmas develop into the event we know today. Queen Victoria’s partner Prince Albert brought over the custom of Christmas trees from Germany, and the giving of Christmas presents to the whole household became extremely popular. Victorian gift ideas included both useful and also ornamental gifts. Christmas gifts for men included slippers, scarves and cigar cases, whereas females received stationary, aprons as well as pin cushions. Personalised gifts and also handmade gifts were very popular, with many families spending the dark winter evenings creating unique gifts for each other.
Christmas is not the only event to involve giving gifts, and also many other traditions have a rich history of showing love by way of presents. Anniversary gifts are thought to date back to the Middle Ages in Germanic nations. A woman was given a silver wreath by her good friends to commemorate 25 years of marriage and then a gold one to celebrate a 50th anniversary which is where the modern phrases originated from.
Over the years, much more dates became eligible for anniversary gifts. From the Victorian period, wood was a common gift for the fifth anniversary and also 60 years of marriage turned out to be referred to as a diamond wedding anniversary right after celebrations of Queen Victoria’s 60th year as monarch. Other significant anniversary dates celebrated with special anniversary gifts include the 20th (china), 30th (pearl) and also 40th (ruby), and now there are modern gifts suitable for just about every wedding anniversary, from the very first (clocks) to the 100th (10-carat diamond).
Although a few see giving gifts as a modern trend, the exchanging of presents has long been done for hundreds of years and the traditions behind giving birthday gifts on special occasions are simply just as important as the events themselves!

An out of this world high class hotel has opened in Dubai and it has attracted a huge number of publicity and also hype because of its lavish décor.

The Jumeirah Zabeel Saray hotel, situated on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, boasts a massive 363 rooms as well as having bath tubs which are big enough to host 12 rugby players. Yet it isn’t how large the bathroom furniture is which has drawn the Duvet and Pillow Warehouse’s attention but instead the undeniable fact that the bed linen is supposedly examined by NASA.

This sounds totally bizarre however having looked at the hotel’s pictures it almost reads practical seeing as the hotel is decked out in huge and also brash chandeliers, 10 restaurants, two bars and also magnificent infrastructure.

At DAPW our bedding products are just as chic as well as luxurious after being tested by a number of of the best bedding professionals in the business. We insist upon a high thread-count and cord edging to offer that touch of style as well as the 100% cotton ranges may keep their purity and not bobble over time due to the fact we care.

The summer is a great time of 2011 to start a better detoxification beauty regime because the sun can sweat out the pores and drinking water to cool down will cleanse the skin.

A complete cleansing routine which involves a facial wash, toner and moisturiser is the best quality selection for all skin types whether you've got dry or oily skin. Plus an exfoliator is fantastic to use once a week to ensure the skin stays smooth and it helps to eliminate cellulite but each one of these products can certainly clog up the bathroom shelves; so instead store them away in a basin vanity unit.

Bathroom sink units are ideal to install in a bathroom since they're big enough to inventory all vital products like the toilet roll, bathroom cleaner and beauty items. But in addition to being practical, vanity units also are great because they can also add style to a décor. If you would like it to stand out as a focal point it can do or just as easily, units can fade into the background and not be an eyesore.

So if you need anywhere to safely hide away all your bathroom toiletries so they are out of reach from the kids go to True Shopping.

Studies have found that there's a large number of offices to let within Manchester, with 3.2sq ft of empty office space according to think tank New Economy.

2010 was a record twelve months for take up on office space within the city, however it's definitely not expected to reach the same levels this year. Despite this, the price of prime office space in Manchester has slightly improved from £28.50 for every sq ft to £30 per sq ft.

The city has experienced huge development in recent times, and is even now an integral destination to do business despite economic issues. The number of passengers using Manchester Airport increased in April 2011 by 352,000 when compared with April 2010 and also hotel accommodation rates for both weekdays and weekends have expanded.

If you’re searching for serviced offices to rent in Manchester and also across the UK, Official Space may help. They've got thousands of offices available, which can accommodate between 1 - 500 employees. With both rural, urban as well as city centre locations available, you can find the perfect location for your company.

Ever since the Citizens Advice Bureau undertook to launch a super campaign against the mis selling of payment protection insurance in the UK, government has been continually updating legislation in regards to PPI, how it is sold and how claims are handled. Although regulations are continually growing stricter, lenders in the UK are still mis selling a costly and often worthless insurance cover altogether too often. For this reason, new legislation has made the mis selling of payment protection more difficult by enacting a 14 day rule.

The 14 Day Rule: Cooling Off Period

In the past lenders were found guilty of adding a PPI claim to a loan unbeknownst to consumers. They were simply placing the insurance on the closing statement, amortising the onetime premium along with the amount being borrowed and setting up repayments based on this amount. Many times consumers had paid thousands of pounds before realising they were paying for an insurance product that they didn’t agree to purchase and in fact weren’t even eligible for! Not only is this a blatant breech of professional ethics, it is illegal and can result in a hefty fine. Now lenders must wait 14 days until after the loan is agreed prior to selling payment protection insurance to buyers. In fact, even independent producers must wait that timeframe prior to selling PPI.

What Can You Do If Your Lender Violates this Ruling?

If you are told that you must purchase cover along with the loan in order to qualify or at least qualify for a greater amount of money, you should immediately refuse to purchase PPI and report the lender to the Financial Services Authority for the mis selling of payment protection. Not only will your lender be in violation of the 14 day rule but they will also be in violation of other regulations as well. Loans are not contingent upon insurance products and it is illegal to state they are! Your lender knows this and is simply choosing to ignore the law.
